Frustration among the maintenance crew at the Dubai-headquartered Ascom stone quarry soared. The extreme weather conditions of Dubai together with repetitive contact with abrasive materials resulted in the rubber V-belts on its stone crusher to fail twice a week. Facing long delays and hours of maintenance time, the crew sought an alternative solution and chose our NuTLink V-belt for its unique blend of polyester and polyurethane composite, high resistance to extreme temperatures (-40° to +100° Celsius) and abrasive materials, and its link construction for quick and easy installation.
