Basic Scope/Purpose:

Support the Credit Department by analyzing and monitoring all aspects of assigned customer accounts according to Fenner policies, internal controls and goals. Various projects and reports as required that contribute to the development and success of the Credit function.

 

Education and/or Relative Experience:

  • High School Diploma or general education degree (GED) required. 
  • Accounting/Finance post high school education or Associates (A.A.) or Bachelors (B.S.) degree in Finance, Accounting, Business or related field preferred.  
  • Two to five years accounts receivable/collections experience required, manufacturing and/or business to business environment preferred. 
  • EnterpriseOne experience preferred; computer proficiency including Word and Excel (intermediate skills required) with the ability to develop advanced spreadsheet skills.  
  • Excellent communications skills and ability to work in fast paced environment required.

Customer Service-Product Support Specialist

The Technical Customer Support Specialist works to provide world class support to all levels of the Fenner Drives Sales and customer base including: regional sales managers, rep partners, distributor partners and direct customers. The Technical Customer Support Specialist is responsible for having a solid understanding of Fenner Drives products, systems and services. 

 

The person in this role manages the day to day customer relations. This includes: processing orders, answering inbound calls, entering customer feedback, resolving customer issues, and providing basic technical support to internal and external customers. A typical day will likely involve fielding between 50-75 inbound calls, most technical in nature.

 

The person fulfilling this position must be detail oriented and able to thrive in a fast paced environment.  

 

 

Education and/or Relative Experience:

Two year college degree or equivalent combination of education and experience

Minimum three years of customer service experience in a business-to-business sales environment

 

Capable to effectively present information and respond to technical questions from managers, clients, and customers

  • Actively contribute to a team atmosphere
  • Active listening skills are imperative  
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks at once is mandatory
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and other programs is a significant benefit
  • Ability to quickly learn new programs 
  • Experience working in a high volume call center (50+ per day), or an inside phone sales / customer service role
  • Acute attention to detail
  • Ability to enter customer purchase orders accurately, in a timely manner
  • Willing to resolve issues quickly and appropriately
  • Continuous training to improve commercial/product knowledge and customer service skills  
  •  Experience with E1 and Sales Force a plus

Order Administrator

Basic Scope/Purpose:

Responsible for the entry of customer orders, customer complaints, and all other administrative tasks that pertain to customer interactions (ie., website review, open order reports, schedules).

Principal Accountabilities:

  1. Accurate and timely entry of customer's orders.
  2. Handling of Customer Complaints, including entry and update of the Industrial Feedback Log.
  3. Additional administrative functions as required, in support of the sales support team, to meet customer’s needs.
  4. Performs administrative duties (including but not limited to): general data analysis, data entry, daily graph preparation, office supply inventory maintenance, weekly key performance indicators (KPI), and graphs/charts for monthly statistic reporting.
  5. Other projects as deemed appropriate.

Education and/or Experience:

  • Associate’s or business school degree; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Must be detail oriented and able to maintain focus on specific information

  • Experience with JD Edwards E1 and or Sales Force a plus
