Application: Woodworking Machinery — Band Saw
Choose Trantorque to mount the pulley carrying the band saw blade. Traditional mount was a key and setscrew. Setscrew marred shaft and often loosened, allowing pulley to "walk" around on shaft causing misalignment, vibrations and blade damage.
Reasons for using Trantorque:
- Eliminate the problems associated with a keyed connection
- Allows secure and precise mounting of pulley
- Ease of installation - pulley can be dismounted quickly
- Eliminate misalignment - positions pulley perpendicular to shaft
