Application: Theatrical Rigging

We have all attended functions of the performing arts: concerts, plays, or other events. Much of the stage, lighting and other props are moved with theatrical rigging. This is a make-up of many cables, winches and drums. A traditional keyed mount was the means of connecting the drums to the shaft.
