Application: Lumber Conveyor

Problem: The conveyor accumulates enough boards to fill a complete pack for stacking and banding prior to shipping to the customer. There are twelve levels to the conveyor with 5 belts per level. Manual retensioning was cost-prohibitive. Needed an automatic tail pulley in the conveyor to maintain tension in the belt.

Solution: Fifty-five  T-Max RT4100 heavy-duty spring-loaded tensioners with PowerMax F3B6280 pulleys to both act as the tail pulleys for the rough top flat belt as well as to maintain tension in the belt that moves the lumber.
