Automatically Tension Multiple Belt or Chain Drives

With a wealth of experience in designing rotary and linear tensioners, Fenner engineers have developed tensioners specifically suited to high speed, or heavily loaded industrial belt and chain applications, with an innovative design. The T-Max RT4000 series incorporates a number of features new to industrial tensioner design.

• Tension and drive vibration dampening are provided by an alloy steel torsional wrapped spring. These springs are easily reversed, making the RT3000 and RT4000 bi-directional, allowing users to optimize positioning.
• The unique stamped steel arm design is removable and custom lengths can be specified to allow ideal idler positioning for almost any given drive. RT4000 has an offset arm to direct idler load over supporting bearings thereby eliminating or reducing the effects of overhung load.
• The rugged housing and base are fabricated from die-cast aluminum.
• Like all T-Max tensioners from Fenner Drives, both RT3000 and RT4000 are installed with a single mounting bolt.

To complement the new T-Max RT3000 and RT4000 Automatic Tensioners, Fenner Drives has a wide range of PowerMax V-groove and flat idler pulleys.
