Application: Hold Down Conveyor - Chain Drive

Problem: Chain drives the hold down rolls which press on the wood boards to be glued. Chain gets too much slack in it. Vibrates and creates additional noise. Difficult to access to work on chain to remove links and reduce sag.

Solution:
Spring loaded linear tensioner. Tensioner provides continuous automatic straight-line take-up of the chain. Tensioner is fixed with a unique "arc" shaped UHMW chain guide head. UHMW is idealy suited for chain applications due to its inherent corrosion resistance and self-lubricating properties.
