Chris Junkin is approaching two years at Fenner Drives as the Western Regional Sales Manager. Chris jumped into his role with high energy and determination. As the Western – RSM he manages the Western US and Canada through our manufacturer rep groups as well as our direct OEM customers. The bulk of his responsibilities involve “spending time in the field with our customers to offer solutions to their ongoing [power transmission or conveying] problems.”
In his brief time with Fenner Drives, Chris has already garnered success. He explains, “Uncovering a new OEM (Cornerstone Automation), that started as a web inquiry and resulted in a great partnership. We have been able to offer many cost saving solutions and we are able to offer them application and engineering support that they were previously not used to getting.”
Chris loves to build relationships with customers and co-workers alike. He defines his early accomplishments with our customers this way, “I‘ve created lasting relationships with some of our key customers that we previously did not have and gave our customers the support and service they expect from a top tier manufacturer.” Chris has also enjoyed mentoring Kamryn Morgan, which resulted in her promotion to an outside sales position with Fenner Drives.
After all the travel, Chris enjoys hunting, fishing and golfing. He explains, “Each of these are things I enjoy doing because it allows me to spend quality outdoor time with my family after long weeks on the road.” When you see Chris on his next visit you can ask him if his golf game has improved or better yet have those improved client relations continued to pay off.
