Sebastien Collignon has been our Sales Manager in France for over a year. He enjoys his role at Fenner Drives and says he feels like a child at a playground. He states, “The French market is huge and driven with standard habits that I have to fight against.” His first year has been spent discovering more about the market in which he lives and the realization there is still a long way to go before Fenner Drives reaches its limits. “I push hard because my job requires determination, self-motivation, and strong market knowledge to succeed.”
My first success was overcoming a difficult start with a French/American transportation provider. With help from my Fenner Drives team members we were able to solve the issues and provide a suitable product.
“I joined Fenner a year ago and honestly it was not easy to switch from my previous company, where I worked hard for 10 years. I was inspired by Fenner Drives’ spirit and I really appreciated the help offered by the team in US/UK,” he explains.
Sebastien describes his time away from work, “During my time off, I take care of my family and try to please each of them. Indeed, with four boys at home it's not easy to please everyone, but we play soccer, practice wakeboard, and swim a lot. During the winter, we like to ski as soon as we can. On the side, my passion is motorsports. I like to drive sportscars and bikes. I also ride my mountain bike in the hills in the countryside and I enjoy playing the guitar.” Next time Sebastien visits from France ask him how those four boys are.
