Fenner Precision Polymers Employee Spotlight - Bora Chan

Now with Hoyt Wire Cloth, a subsidiary of Fenner Precision Polymers, for more than 28 years, Bora Chan enjoys the challenges of his work and the many opportunities to assist with innovation through team efforts. It is the scope of his work that creates so many chances to contribute to the company's achievements. In addition to his role in Crimping, Weaving, Poly flap development, straightening and cutting, Bora has also helped support the R&D process.

The development of Hoyt patented products, for example, is one specific area in which Bora and other colleagues have made considerable supporting contributions. He has been involved in assisting with many new Hoyt product developments like Hoyt Hi­Rise, XL T, and Serpa screens.

Achievements like these are what Bora sees as the favorite part about his job - like creating new screen specifications for our customer's needs. He also enjoys working with people from a broad array of backgrounds and nationalities. In fact, it is this exposure that he credits for helping him learn English through speaking with co-workers.

Outside of work, it is all about appreciating nature and his wife. Bora loves to buy plants and flowers for her and going out to try various restaurants together. He also makes quality time for fishing and practicing his faith.
