James Gattis is still relatively new to Fenner Drives, reaching his first-year anniversary working at our Wilmington, North Carolina location, on February 4th, 2020. James works as a Material Handler maintaining accurate inventory while controlling the raw materials and finished products in Wilmington.
James enjoys the daily rigors of his job and describes his workday, “I spend my day preparing workstations by ensuring the machines and their operators have what they need to accomplish their daily tasks, and ensuring finished products are properly accounted for and stored.”
In his job he interacts with various people and describes this as his favorite part of his job. He explains, “The best part of my job is having the opportunity to work with a diverse group of people from many different backgrounds.”
Outside of work, James has a varied group of hobbies. He is a self-described gamer and loves to build computers. As part of his assorted interests James also plays the drums and he describes himself as a “cooker-outer extraordinaire!” Congratulate James as he approaches his 1-year anniversary and maybe you can ask him to sample his barbecuing skills.
